OUR MISSION

SANDEE TOVIN
“Sandee” has more than twenty-five years’ experience in election administration, helping manage and conduct over seven thousand elections. She began her professional career (1990 to 1999) at the Honest Ballot Association, a not-for-profit organization founded by Theodore Roosevelt, where she was Senior Election Administrator.
Because of her experience in providing complete election management solutions to key private sector clients, including labor unions, associations and cooperatives/ condominiums, she is well equipped to handle all aspects of elections.
She has successfully supported over 7,000 elections in a career that has spanned more than 25 years in the election business. She is a skilled member of the project team working and implementing detailed requirements, making sure all tasks and deliverables are completed on time, and that the client is continually informed on all aspects of the project. Her strong client relationships and can do attitude is why she is considered one of the leading women in the election business.

CHRISTINE KING
Christine King has been working along side Sandee for more than 20 years. Also dating back to Honest Ballot Association.
As the Senior Election Administrator (EA) Christine has been the Election Administrator for a number of very large projects including Penn State Alumni, Yale University Alumni, and Hawaii Employees Retirement System.
Christine has primary responsibility for day-to-day project management. Christine’s team is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day “help desk” phone line by telephone or email provided to members. She has personally handled over 3,000 different assignments and understands the importance of exact record keeping and documentation required.
Her team oversees all the technical and graphic aspects of elections: Ballot design, placement, envelopes and multi documents are carefully checked before mailing.
ESU typically assigns a primary and in many cases several secondary EA’s depending on the size of the engagement to ensure the client always has an educated point of contact available for consultation. Coordination responsibility extends to print and mail, internet, telephone, and any special requirements that may arise.

ANDREW KING
Andrew began his election career in October of 2001. He has worked in many aspects of elections including Election Supervisor, IT Specialist and as SQL Database Administrator for multiple election companies. He has supervised elections all across the country for various organizations. Andrew constantly seeks to improve systems with greater security and better election equipment. Andrew has experience managing voter database files, programming secure web voting applications, generating customized tabulation reporting. Andrew is also certified in the creation of scannable forms processing routines (form specs) that enable automated processing of ballots and survey results. His role will be to enable the database and web systems work supporting the project, as well as web enabling all of the appropriate forms for on-line applications. Andrew built the custom platform that you will see on our voting website and on our touchscreens. Andrew created and maintains our online and touchscreen election software with a team of talented industry professionals.
